The term androgynous comes from Greek and means “combining female and male characteristics and characteristics. At first glance, androgynous people cannot be clearly assigned to a specific gender.
People who consciously identify themselves as non-gendered or appear that way to other people are referred to as androgynous. Such an assessment is also due to less pronounced sexual characteristics of the opposite sex, as well as behavior or choice of clothing
Celebrities such as David Bowie or Bill Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel are considered androgynous due to their look.
